When older children return

We moved to another state when my daughter was in college so I feel as if I lost part of her life since I couldn't be with her often. She recently moved in with us and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

I'm trying to be encouraging about her finding a full time job so she can move into the city but I really don't mind that she's staying with us longer :)

Are there any parents who are thrilled about older children moving back in?

I moved back in with my parents when I was 24 - i'm pretty sure they where happy to have me around more!

I don't think I could go back again now at 31 - I think I would be very much in the way.

Although, I'd have 3 of my own children to bring with me these days ;)

I'm 52 and haven't lived with my parents since I got married at age 23. I have gone back to visit them since I live in a different state and I have to say it's hard living with them even for a visit. If I had to have them move in with me because they're older I'll willingly invite them into my home. I just think they would definitely need some separate spaces :D
